Version 6.5a of GoFiler has been released. This version corresponds to EDGAR 26.1 and also includes changes to Section 16 that will become effective on March 18, 2026. Additional changes have been made to Text View and Page View, as well as Form X-17A View and SCHEDULE 13D/G View.
Please use the Check for Updates function to update your software to the latest version.
What’s in the Release
Text View/ASCII
– Improved error detection and display of incorrect or impermissible HTML/SGML declarations.
Page View and HTML
– Corrected an issue where an opening block element could be altered erroneously.
– Improved error reporting for incorrect HTML declarations.
General EDGAR Updates
– Updated to EDGAR 26.1
Form X-17A Updates
– The “Has this oath been notarized...” field has been made optional.
SCHEDULE 13D/G Updates
– Schedule 13D/G View has been updated to allow multiple Issuer CUSIPs.
– Item 5 of SCHEDULE 13G has been updated to show “Not Applicable” if it is checked.
Section 16 Updates
– Updated editing and XML for new rules regarding foreign reporting owners and issuers.
