More specifically, EDGAR Release 26.3 will implement the following updates:

• increase Street Address character limits to 150 for SBSE‑BD, SBSE‑BD/A, and SBSE‑W, and ensure address fields populate in Schedule F‑Section I when “individual” is selected for the agent for service of process
• remove the Employment Transition Report (ETR) submission type from EDGAR Link Online to avoid confusion for NRSROs. All ETRs must continue to be filed through the dedicated ETR application
• update Form 13F and 13F‑CTR templates to correct a labeling error
• introduce a new ANE Exception Notice interface for electronic submission of ANE Exception Notices and withdrawals. LIVE and TEST submissions begin September 14, 2026. Email submissions are allowed through December 31, 2026, and use of the interface is required beginning January 1, 2027.
• implement a new online Form 1 interface for Form 1 and all variants (1, 1AA, 1AC, 1/A, 1/A-A, 1/A-T, 1/S-M, 1/S-R, and 1W). LIVE and TEST submissions begin September 14, 2026. Paper filings are allowed through March 1, 2027, and electronic submission is required beginning March 2, 2027.
• add a new version of the FND (Fund) taxonomy, FND‑2026q3, including new concepts (portfolio table, axis, default member, and name) for unit investment trusts. For more details, please see the Change Log section in the taxonomy guide here.
• nullify older taxonomies, including US GAAP/2024, SRT/2024, IFRS/2024, and 2024 versions of CEF, COUNTRY, CURRENCY, CYD, DEI, ECD, EXCH, FFD, FND, NAICS, OEF, RXP, SBS, SIC, SNJ, SRO, STPR, VIP taxonomies, and interim release versions FFD/2024q2, FND/2024q3, OEF/2024q3, RXP/2024q3, and VIP/2024q4 taxonomies.

The latest version of GoFiler Suite 6.6a, set for release on September 14, 2026, includes support for the EDGAR 26.3 release. We recommend you keep your software up-to-date to receive the latest changes from the SEC.
