On September 14th, the SEC announced that it is adopting amendments to Volume II of the EDGAR system Filer Manual and related rules and forms. EDGAR Release 26.3 is effective in the EDGAR system as of September 14, 2026.
The final rule comprises the following updates, amendments, and additional matters addressed:
- Submission of XBRL Documents
- Forms 13F and 13F-CTR
- ANE Exception Notices under 17 CFR 240.3a71-3(d)(1)(vi)
- Amendment to Rule 301 of Regulation S-T
- Administrative Law Matters

- Regulation S-T—General Rules and Regulations for Electronic Filings
