Filings with a due date of February 17th will be due the following business day, Tuesday, February 18th. On February 7th, the SEC provided a temporary exemption from both compliance with Rule 13f-2 under the Securities Exchange Act and reporting on Form SHO. As a result of the exemption, filings on initial Form SHO reports from institutional investment managers that meet or exceed certain specified thresholds will be due by February 17, 2026, for the January 2026 reporting period. The effective date for Rule 13f-2 and Form SHO was January 2, 2024, and the compliance date for the rule and form was January 2, 2025, with initial Form SHO filings originally due by February 14, 2025. On February 7th, the SEC announced that the Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) will adopt the ISO 20022 message format for the Fedwire Funds Service on March 10, 2025 in a single-day launch. The current Fedwire Application Interface Manual (FAIM) format has a sunset date of March 9, 2025. On February 3rd, the EDGAR system was upgraded with interim release 25.0.1, and it now supports the 2024q3 version of the Fund (FND) taxonomy. The 2024q3 version of the FND taxonomy will now include the requisite update for compatibility with the 2024q3 version of the Open-End Fund (OEF) taxonomy enabling filers to use both taxonomies in one filing, and provide the elements for tagging disclosures related to the SEC’s rulemaking regarding enhanced prospectus disclosure requirements for terminology used in fund names.
