On September 11th, the SEC issued the agenda for the September 16th meeting of the Asset Management Advisory Committee (AMAC). This committee was formed to provide the SEC with diverse perspectives on asset management as well related policy recommendations. The upcoming meeting will include a discussion of matters in the asset management industry, specifically issues concerning the ESG and Private Investments Subcommittees and improving diversity and inclusion. In addition, the meeting will feature a follow-up discussion on COVID-19 matters related to the May 27th AMAC meeting.
The September 16th meeting will be held by remote means and is open to the public. It will be webcast live on SEC.gov and will be archived on the website for later viewing. Members of the public who wish to offer their views and opinions on the topics to be discussed by AMAC may submit comments either electronically or on paper. Please submit comments using one method only; electronic submissions are preferred. Note that submitted information will become part of the public record of the meeting. Please refer to File Number 265-33 in any paper submissions. Likewise, this file number should be included on the subject line if e-mail is used.
