The SEC has released the agenda for the Tuesday, December 1, 2020 convening of the Asset Management Advisory Committee (AMAC). The free event will take place from 9 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. ET and will be presented live via webcast on
sec.gov. The AMAC was established to provide the SEC with diverse points of view on asset management and related advice and recommendations. The committee is a group made up of outside experts, including parties representing the perspectives of small and large funds, retail and institutional investors, intermediaries, and other market participants.
The meeting will include a discussion of matters in the asset management industry relating to:
- the Private Investments Subcommittee
- the ESG Subcommittee, including a discussion of potential recommendations from the Subcommittee
- the Diversity and Inclusion Subcommittee, including a panel discussion on enhancing diversity and inclusion efforts
The meeting will also be archived on the website for later viewing.
Members of the public may submit remarks on the matters to be considered by AMAC by sending comments electronically (preferred) via the SEC’s internet submission form or by emailing submissions to: rule-comments@sec.gov. Paper submissions may be mailed in triplicate to: Secretary, Securities and Exchange Commission, 100 F Street, NE, Washington, DC 20549-1090. Submissions should refer to File Number 265-33, and, if email is used, the file number should appear on the subject line. Please choose only one submission method for comments. Information that is submitted will become part of the meeting’s public record.
