On January 13, 2021, the SEC released a statement concerning Form 13H and filing issues due to Adobe Flash Player’s End of Life. Adobe officially discontinued support for Flash Player on December 31, 2020. Because of this, filers have been experiencing issues with filing Form 13H (and its variants). SEC staff are working on a technical fix. They expect to implement this fix no later than January 31, 2021.
Until the problem is resolved, the SEC has indicated that some filers have had success filing Form 13H by using either Internet Explorer 11 or Microsoft Edge. If filers do not have success this way, they should wait to file Form 13H until after the technical fix is implemented. For questions or further information, filers can contact Filer Support Monday through Friday (except federal holidays), 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET. Call (202) 551-8900 and select option 3.
GoFiler has not been impacted by the Adobe Flash Player issue. Filers should create a new Form 13H submission in GoFiler and attach all necessary files in GoFiler. Then submit the form through EDGAR Link Online by pressing the File button on the Submission ribbon and selecting “Send to EDGAR Link Online”. If you have questions, please contact support at support@novaworkssoftware.com.
