The compliance date for submitting filings using inline XBRL is fast approaching with filings due in August of this year for all non-accelerated and smaller reporting companies. To help this transition, Novaworks is presenting a free, three-part webinar series to help filers learn how to prepare inline XBRL using our patented XDX technology.
Each session of the webinar series will be 90 minutes with time for questions and answers at the end of each segment.
Day 1: Cracking Inline XBRL with GoFiler and XDX
July 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. EDT
(90 minutes)
An introduction to XDX, this webinar will cover the differences between XDX and inline XBRL and how XDX can make the process of adding inline XBRL information to a document easier. This webinar includes information on how XDX works and the different types of XDX tagging (called engrams) with a live demonstration of how to set up a document to use XDX and will walk you through the process of tagging the cover page and balance sheet for a 10-Q filing. Register here.
Day 2: Complete Your Filing
July 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. EDT
(90 minutes)
Part two of the series will focus on how to utilize XDX to prepare an inline XBRL filing from start to finish. We’ll show you how to tag face financials (including parenthetical information), add calculation relationships, set up equity statements, and perform Level 1 through Level 3 block tagging as well as Level 4 detail and details narrative tagging. Register here.
Day 3: Don’t Start from Scratch: Working with Previous Data
July 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. EDT
(90 minutes)
In the final part of the series, we will discuss how to pull information from previous filings (both inline XBRL and from standard XBRL that has been submitted to EDGAR). Previous filings can be used as a starting point for new submissions. This webinar will teach you how to get started and what parts of the filing you can re-use between submissions. Register here.
Even if you are not familiar with our GoFiler software and XDX, these webinars will educate you on the reporting requirements for inline XBRL and how inline XBRL combines the XBRL instance information with an HTML document.
Reservations are required and each session has limited seating. You can register for one, two, or all three sessions – just be sure to reserve your place on each day!
Sessions will be recorded and made available upon request.
