The Chair of the SEC, Gary Gensler, and the UN Principles for Responsible Investment will join to discuss climate change and its effect on global financial markets. The issue is part of the SEC’s Regulatory Agenda released June 2021. The 45-minute event will take place on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. ET. The event is free and open to the public, but
registration is required.

The SEC recently solicited public comment on climate change disclosure in response to the demand for climate change information and questions raised about whether current disclosures sufficiently inform investors.
