On September 19, 2016, EDGAR 16.3 was released by the Securities and Exchange Commission. This release contained changes to Form ABS-EE and filing changes for Forms N-CR, 13H-I and 13H-T.
Changes to Filing Submissions
Forms N-CR and N-CR/A can now be submitted to EDGAR by unregistered money market funds. The following data can optionally be provided when an unregistered money market fund files a report on these submission types:
– Filer Investment Company Type
– Series ID
– Class ID
Large Traders whose most recent 13H filing was a Form 13H-I will now be able to submit a Form 13H-T regardless of the amount of time that has passed since the 13H-I filing was made.
Changes to Form ABS-EE
Changes were made to the Form ABS-EE data file for the CMBS Asset Class as follows:
– The date format was changed from MM/YYYY to MM-DD-YYYY for Item 2(c)(12), First Loan Payment Due Date.
– The codes and descriptions referencing CMSA were updated to reference CREFC for Item 2(d)(28)(xii), Net Operating Income Net Cash Flow Securitization Code and Item 2(d)(28)(xiii),
Net Operating Income Net Cash Flow Code.
Changes were made to the Form ABS-EE data file for the Debt Securities Asset Class as follows:
– The date format was changed from MM/YYYY to MM-DD-YYYY for Item 5(f)(3), Demand Resolution Date.
The ABS-EE Asset Data schemas were also updated to allow whole integer numbers in decimal fields.
