The final phase-in to use inline XBRL for Risk Return filings begins September 17, 2021. After September 17, all fund groups will need to comply with the Inline XBRL requirements for any initial registration statement (or post-effective amendment that is an annual update to an effective registration statement) that becomes effective on or after that date. To help this transition, Novaworks is presenting a free webinar to help filers learn how to prepare Inline XBRL for the Risk Return taxonomy using our patented XDX technology.
The webinar will be 90 minutes with time for questions and answers at the end of the session.
iXBRL and XDX for Risk Return
August 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. EDT
(90 minutes)
This webinar will cover the differences between Novaworks’ XDX technology, which is a format designed specifically to embed XBRL information into HTML documents, and Inline XBRL. We’ll briefly cover how XDX works and how it can make the process of adding Inline XBRL information to a document easier. The overview of XDX will be followed by a live demonstration of how to set up a prospectus for Inline XBRL by adding taxonomy information and using the tools in GoFiler to quickly set up series and class information. We’ll also show how the software will automatically tag tables and how to finish tagging tables using the tagging tools. Finally, we’ll cover the bar chart and detail data facts. Register here.
Even if you are not familiar with our GoFiler software and XDX, these webinars will educate you on the reporting requirements for inline XBRL and how inline XBRL combines the XBRL instance information with an HTML document.
A reservation is required, and the webinar has limited seating.
Sessions will be recorded and made available upon request.
