Update: The November 2 XBRL US SEC Filer Workshop has been cancelled.
XBRL US is hosting a one-day workshop for SEC filers on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the AICPA offices in New York City. Topics covered by the workshop will include the changes to financial reporting that regulators are proposing, including the permitted use of Inline XBRL and revisions to disclosure requirements.
David Theis, Novaworks’ Vice President of Development and the Lead Developer for our XBRL software and tools, will be attending this workshop with one of our XBRL technical experts, Steve Horowitz. We would like to encourage others to attend as well, both to hear from the Securities and Exchange Commission and members of the XBRL US Data Quality Committee and to meet some of our developers face-to-face.

Where: AICPA Office - NYC (1211 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY)
Who Should Attend: SEC and EDGAR filers, XBRL service providers and accounting firms that work with public companies
