XBRL US will host a webinar entitled “Understanding the New FERC Taxonomy - Time to Focus!”, at which the recently completed Taxonomy from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) will be discussed. The FERC Taxonomy has been modified in answer to comments submitted by FERC filers and software providers. The 60-minute webinar will take place on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. ET {expires: 2022-04-14}
The sessions will be presented by XBRL US staff and will feature the following topics:
- Taxonomy-related feedback received and how they have been addressed
- Addressing discrepancies between paper and taxonomy instructions
- Revisions to the business/validation rules used by the FERC to test XBRL reports submitted by issuers
- Updates to Forms 2 and 6 regarding the FERC waiver and how to implement it
- Modifications to resolve data type, inconsistencies, and spelling issues that lead to rendering problems
- Validating and rendering FERC filings
