The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) has announced that it will convene a meeting of its Small Business Advisory Committee (SBAC). The meeting will take place on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET.
The FASB will meet with the SBAC to discuss:
- Disaggregation—Income Statement Expenses
- Accounting for and Disclosure of Intangibles
- Accounting for Government Grants
This meeting is open to the public and will be streamed live on the FASB website. For more information, including instructions on how to access the meeting, see the Notice of Open Meetings webpage on fasb.org.
Since 2016, the FASB’s Small Business Advisory Committee has endeavored to more actively engage with small public companies with regard to the development of financial accounting and reporting standards.
