On February 2, 2026, EDGAR Release 26.0.1 implemented updates to the EDGAR Filing Website, EDGAR Online Forms Management Website, Filer Management Website, and APIs.
With the new release, the SEC introduced the following changes:
- updated EDGAR submission notifications to use the annual confirmation due date in place of references to password expiration
- removed the inoperable N-CR and N-CR/A links on the EDGARLink Online interface. Filers must make these submissions in a structured, machine-readable format prepared with the online version available on the EDGAR Filing Website using the online application or one constructed by filers according to the EDGAR Form N-CR XML Technical Specification document.
