The SEC has announced its virtual Investor Advisory Committee meeting that will take place on June 10, 2021, beginning at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The public may attend the free event which will be presented live via webcast at sec.gov. The meeting will also be archived on the
Committee’s website for later viewing.
The event will feature discussions covering the following matters:
- best execution and its role in post-NMS market structure
- 10b5-1 plans
- recommendation regarding individual retirement accounts
- best execution issues unique to wholesale brokers
The SEC encourages interested parties to submit remarks on or before June 9, 2021. Comments may be submitted electronically via the SEC’s internet submission form or emailed to rule-comments@sec.gov. - regulatory priorities and the regulation of securities products
- trading strategies and fee structures
- the effectiveness of disclosure and initiatives to protect investor interests
