New Release (5.24a) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.24a of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains changes pertaining to the EDGAR 24.3 release, including support for the CYD 2024 taxonomy and the SBSEF family of forms. In addition, this update includes improvements and corrections to Form N-PX, Form N-CR, and Form N-MFP3. Please use the Check for Updates function to update your software to the latest version.

New Release (5.23b) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.23b of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains improvements and corrections to Form N-PX as well as support for the IFRS and SBS 2024 taxonomies. Additionally, this release contains improvements and corrections for EDGAR Submission View, Form N-MFP3 View, the Fee Exhibit Editor, and XDX. See the release notes for more information.

SEC Issues EDGAR 24.2 Release XBRL Taxonomies Update

SEC Releases Current Draft EDGAR Filer Manual

The SEC has announced that it has released its draft of the EDGAR® Filer Manual, Volume II: “EDGAR Filing” (Version 70 ) to help issuers prepare for potential updates to the EDGAR system detailed in the draft and scheduled to be introduced in EDGAR Release 24.2 on July 1, 2024. New Release (5.22c) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.22c of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains improvements and corrections to Form N-PX as well as some corrections for EDGAR Submission View and an update to the N-PORT forms. Additionally, support for the XML version of Form N-CR has been added to the software. See the release notes for more information.

SEC Issues 2024 XBRL Taxonomies Update

New Release (5.22a) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.22a of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release corresponds to EDGAR 24.1 and contains support for the 2024 taxonomies, including the SRO taxonomy. Additionally, support for Forms 17AD-27 and 17AD-27/A as well as the SEC “redact” property has been added. See the release notes for more information.

Issue Filing Large XBRL Reports to the EDGAR System

Some time over the weekend of January 27th, EDGAR XBRL filers began experiencing an issue when submitting large XBRL filings to the EDGAR system. This issue concerns a change that was made in Arelle. Specifically, when an XBRL report is run through Arelle with too many possible dimensional combinations on a single report, Arelle now produces an error and the EDGAR System rejects the filing. New Release (5.20b) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.20b of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains support for the new EDGAR Next Beta system. Features to use the EDGAR Next Beta system are early in development with additional tools to handle delegation and user management forthcoming. This version of the software allows users to set up filing credentials and begin to use the EDGAR Next Beta.
