SEC Issues June 2023 XBRL Taxonomies Update

On June 20th, the SEC updated the EDGAR system to Release 23.2, and the system now supports multiple new XBRL taxonomies, including the 2023 version of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) taxonomy, the Resource Extraction Payments (RXP) taxonomy, and the Open-End Fund (OEF) taxonomy. Interim Release of GoFiler (5.19a Patch A)

Memorial Day

The SEC will be closed Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day. The EDGAR System will not receive, process or accept filings on this day. Filings with a due date of May 29th will be due the following business day. SEC Releases New Draft EDGAR Filer Manual for EDGAR 23.2

The SEC has released its draft of the EDGAR® Filer Manual, Volume II: “EDGAR Filing” (Version 66). This draft Volume II of the EDGAR Filer Manual is accessible to filers in anticipation of feedback and to help issuers prepare for potential updates to the EDGAR system detailed in the draft and scheduled to be introduced in EDGAR Release 23.2 on June 20, 2023. New Release (5.18b) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.18b of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains a number of new features, including a new tool to edit labels globally in XBRL and XDX, a new function for validating XDX documents as XBRL, and a new extension manage to install and manage extensions/plug-ins for the GoFiler software. Additionally, improvements and corrections were made to numerous EDGAR XML forms for proofing and editing as well as to inline XBRL validation and XDX processing.

SEC Issues 2023 XBRL Taxonomies Update

On March 20, 2023, the SEC upgraded the EDGAR system to Release 23.1. The system now supports the 2023 reporting taxonomies. The SEC does not anticipate the removal of the 2021 versions of any taxonomies to occur before June 2023. New Release (5.18a) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.18a of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release corresponds to EDGAR 23.1 and contains an update to Forms 4 and 5. Additionally, this release contains support for exhibit 19 for Forms 10-K and 10-KT, as well as changes to NPORT, 13F, X-17A, and inline XBRL.

New Release (5.17c) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.17c of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains a number of improvements to XDX, including a new auto-tag table feature and support for the 2023 taxonomies, as well as improvements for iXBRL validation. Additional corrections and improvements were made to Form C, Form 24F-2, and Form 13F-CTR.
