EDGAR 25.2.2 Released

The SEC has released EDGAR 25.2.2, which incorporates requirements for EDGAR Next, the SEC's security, access, and account management improvements made to the EDGAR system. Enrollment in and compliance with EDGAR Next is now necessary to file on the EDGAR system. To be in compliance, filing entities must be enrolled in EDGAR Next by December 19, 2025, or have had their Form ID application for EDGAR access granted on or after March 24, 2025. GoFiler 6.2a Now Available

Version 6.2a of GoFiler has been released. This release is in anticipation of Monday's EDGAR Next release and will automatically switch over to the EDGAR Next system for submissions on 9/12/2025 at 10:01pm Eastern. GoFiler 6.2a Will Be Available for Download Later Today

Version 6.2a of GoFiler will be released later today to facilitate the transition to EDGAR Next. This release contains all of the necessary functionality to submit filings to EDGAR Next and will automatically switch to EDGAR Next mode tonight at 10:01pm Eastern. EDGAR Next Reminders

On September 15, 2025, enrollment in EDGAR Next becomes required in order to continue filing to the EDGAR system. Currently users can enroll their CIKs in EDGAR Next with only their current EDGAR information. Open enrollment in EDGAR Next ends on December 19, 2025. Continue reading "EDGAR Next Reminders" »
