EDGAR Release 23.2.1

On July 17, 2023, the SEC announced that it updated SEC.gov stylesheets for Forms 4 and 5, which will be implemented with EDGAR Release 23.2.1. More specifically, the checkbox introduced in Release 23.1—to allow filers to determine whether the reported transaction was subject to a contract, instruction or written plan intended to meet the conditions of Rule 10b5-1(c)—has been moved from above Table 1 to the upper left corner of the stylesheet. SEC Issues June 2023 XBRL Taxonomies Update

On June 20th, the SEC updated the EDGAR system to Release 23.2, and the system now supports multiple new XBRL taxonomies, including the 2023 version of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) taxonomy, the Resource Extraction Payments (RXP) taxonomy, and the Open-End Fund (OEF) taxonomy. SEC Announces EDGAR BETA Testing for Filing Fee Modernization Rule

SEC Issues 2023 XBRL Taxonomies Update

On March 20, 2023, the SEC upgraded the EDGAR system to Release 23.1. The system now supports the 2023 reporting taxonomies. The SEC does not anticipate the removal of the 2021 versions of any taxonomies to occur before June 2023. SEC Approves Final Rules to Extend Form 144 Filing Deadlines

SEC Announces XBRL Taxonomies Update to Release 22.4

On December 19th, the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) system was updated to Release 22.4. The system now supports the 2022Q4 version of the Executive Compensation Disclosure (ECD) and Document and Entity Information (DEI) taxonomies. These taxonomies provide the tagging elements for disclosures associated with the SEC’s releases on Pay Versus Performance and Listing Standards for Recovery of Erroneously Awarded Compensation.

SEC Releases 2023 Draft Taxonomies

On November 7th, the SEC released drafts of the 2023 updates to its reporting taxonomies, including updates as part of the annual review and update process for all SEC taxonomies accepted in the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) system. The Draft 2023 Release Notes contain more information concerning the specific changes in the 2023 update.
